Red scarf day! Mako-rial day weekend. Help support Legend of Korra!
Okay. SO we have all heard that memorial day weekend, we will not be recieving a new episode of Legend of Korra. This is just time for May sweeps. What this most likely means is that the veiwership is beeing tested, seeing the amount that will come back will determine budgets and opertunities for the series.
I have no doubt in this fandom, that we will come back loyaly. But I think that we should do more than that. Lets support our show and come back even BIGGER.
Thats why I had the idea of Red scarf day.
Thursday, May 24. (The last day of schools and work for most places before Memorial day weekend. )
On this day, lets ALL wear red scarfs.
If this spreads to all Korra fans, it could make an Impact. This not only signifies our obvious sadness to the lack of episode :( , but also to our devotion and support.
If this gets widespread enough, people will wonder why in the middle of May so many people are wearing read scarfs. You will get questioned, and this will be a way to spread the word of Korra. It could get people interested. It could also be a nice way to meet some people in you everyday environment that you didn’t even even know were Korra fans.
I think this is something fun that will will unite our fandom, knowing that all over people are wearing red scarfs, but it might actually help us grow in numbers.
Lets show our support and devotion to our show, and show that THIS FANDOM GETS SHIT DONE!
